The first step is to receive a most recent copy of your bank statement, and it must be notarized. Most banks have a notary on staff who can notarize the bank statement as it’s printed.
If the staff notary is not available, you can arrange to have a traveling notary meet you at the bank. They can notarize the signature of the bank employee who presents you with the statement.
Once you have the notarized bank statement, obtaining the apostille is your next step.
